Hey Guys and Girls,
Well I’m going to give you some big news on a big event happening in London, UK.

SUPERVSBATTLE 20-X IS HERE!

That’s right NeoEmpire, is hosting the 3 day fighting gaming event extvagnza which is SupervsBattle 20-X.

The date for SupervsBattle 20-X is 20th to 22nd August and it will be at the

Byron Hall,
Harrow Leisure Centre,
Christchurch Avenue,
Harrow and Wealdstone (London),
Middlesex,
HA3 5BD

How to get to the venue:

Take London Overground or Bakerloo Line to Harrow and Wealdstone Station and the venue is a short walk from there.

Tournament Games and Schedule:

There will be 7 Tournament Games at SupervsBattle20-X, these games will be:

Tekken 6 (PS3)
Super Street Fighter IV (XBOX360)
BlazBlue CS (PS3)
King of Fighters 2002 UM (PS3)
Soul Calibur IV (PS3)
Street Fighter: 3rd Strike (PS2)
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core (PS2)
Street Fighter 2 turbo: HD REMIX (XBOX360)

There will be 2 days of groups and the Final day will be the finals:

The Games to be played on the 20th are:
Super Street Fighter 4 (XBOX 360)
Soul Calibur 4 (Playstation 3)
BlazBlue Continuum Shift (Playstation 3)
Street Fighter III 3rd Strike (Playstation 2)

Games to be played 21st are:
Tekken 6 (Playstation 3)
King of Fighters 2002 UM (Playstation 2)
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix (XBOX 360)
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core (Playstation 2)

The last day (22nd) we will have the finals for all the games.

The Venue will open at 10am BST every day of the event.

Prizes:
Prize money will be rewarded to the top 4 players for every tournament game and the money is decide by the entry pot total for that tournament, the prize money will be divided like so:

1st Place: 60% of the prize pot
2nd Place: 25% of the prize pot
3rd Place: 10% of the prize pot
4th Place: 5% of the prize pot

There will also be a trophy for first place player for each of the 7 tournaments.

Entrance Fees and Signing up:

Entrance Fees are as follows:

15GBP covers your entry into the venue for the 3 days of the event.

10GBP is the entry for each tournament you enter.

Sign ups will start on 26th May 2010 and finish 12th August 2010, YOU MUST SIGN UP IN ADVANCE TO ENTER TOURNAMENTS.

You can use PayPal to sign up.

Flights, Eurostar & Accommodation:

I will be happy to give you the possible routes and prices for your country.

There are well priced hotels and hostels here in London and if you struggle, we will try and get some London Players to accommodate you.

Hi Fastlegs! I saw this tournament a long time ago on neoempire, and im still thinkin about doing it or not. But how many players expected for the moment?

We should hopefully get all the uk, Junior from Poland is interested, Swedish players are coming (don't know if T6 players tho) and some Norway players are confirmed.

so we should get hopefully 70 players with the uk alone, so if peeps from other countries come, imagine the numbers.

what kind of screen are used?

Good question, most of our screens are either hired or Neo Empire staff provide.

I will make it one of my jobs to make sure the screens used will be lag free, infact I send a PM right now to the person incharge of equipment to give me a list of screens intended to be used and have a test on them for lag.

Also I want to make something clear to you guys, I know some of you guys will want to fly here and something that has been put to my attention, is that the current issue in Iceland puts your guys off flying and coming.

Now you guys are actually lucky to have Eurostar, but if you are flying for this event PM me.

I will monitor the Iceland situation and if I feel within about a week or two before coming UK, that Katla is going to do us no favours, I will tell you to take Eurostar or stay home.

UPDATE!

Hey Guys got two updates for you.

A new game has entered the field:

A new game has been entered to the tournament line up, this game is Street Fighter 2 Turbo: HD REMIX. This game will be played on XBOX360

Registration:

Registration opens on 26th May 2010 and will stay open till 12th August 2010, however Neo Empire have decided not to take registration at the venue so you must register online to be allowed to enter the tournaments.

First post will be updated with this info.
